Soooo It's been a While...That's an understatement....

So true story!! I legit feel bad ALL THE TIME that I keep forgetting to write on here!! I really do mean to!!

So quick update on whats happened in almost 2 years!!

Rest of 2015 recap...
Came home for Thanksgiving and Christmas and it was wonderful. Michael came home for Christmas and it was amazing. I was so excited for him to get to see his mom because it had been over a year since he had last seen her.

2016 Review...
First week of the year, the Bison won the 5th FCS championship in a row! Boom!

Michael and I decided to try and lose weight and joined weight watchers. It worked for a good chunk of time until about May when we reached a plateau.

May 6th, 2016....Michael took me away for a romantic weekend to Barnsley Gardens Resort and proposed!! Sooo amazing!! Hooray!! We're getting married!!

May 15th...my Mom and Grandma came and visited me for my birthday!! Yay!

After the spring quarter 2016 was over, I headed home for my summer break to get A LOT of wedding planning done!

Let's see what all did I get done....flowers, reserved cake and caterer, said yes to my wedding dress!! Yay!! Last, I asked all of my bridesmaids to be my bridesmaids!

When I came back from my summer break trip, Michael and I decided to get personal trainers to get in shape and healthy for our wedding/marriage! So far we are doing really good!! I have lost 30lbs and Michael has lost about 50!!

In August, my mom came back to Georgia to visit and Mom, myself, and my friend Chip went to see the Dixie Chicks in concert!!

The week after Michael and I got to see a twins game for the first time in 2 years!! They won even if we weren't at Target Field!

After summer quarter was over, I had a whirlwind last week of finals. I took 5 finals one week, that same week on Friday took Part 1 of National Chiropractic Boards, 2 days later took 5 more finals. Ugh....then I had 3 days to relax and Michael and I went and had our engagment photos taken!! That was a very fun day!! We drove back to where we got engaged and took our photos in the ruins.

Here's us waiting for our photographer to get there!

Here's some of our engagement photos!

After our engagement photo session, we went out to dinner at our favorite place, Seed!

Two days later, I went back home for my dad's 50th birthday party and NDSU Homecoming!

On Halloween, boards scores came out and I passed!!! So Michael and I went back to Seed to celebrate! Such a huge relief!!

For Thanksgiving, my Grandma Connie flew us to visit her!! We had a blast!!

After Thanksgiving, I powered through my last finals and got to have fun with my classmates before we all went our separate ways for Christmas break!

On December 17th, I flew to Minneapolis and met my bridesmaids and we went bridesmaid dress shopping!! Mom and Dad drove to come pick me up and take me to Fargo! Had a blast home for a week and worked/shadowed a chiropractor in his office!

On Christmas Eve, Michael flew into Fargo and we went to church and everyone came over to my parent's house for appetizers and family! Here we are on the way to church!

That night we drove to Michael's mom's house to avoid the Christmas blizzard that was on it's way. We got to his mom's house Christmas morning at 1am and went to bed. The next day we got to sleep in and just spend the next 2 days with them.

Dec 26th...That night we drove such a long time to get back in order for us to get to pre-marital counseling the next day. We made it, and that morning we got to do our counseling. The next day we went to our cake tasting and caterer tasting. I'm so thankful that Michael's mom was able to come to the cake tasting, because we don't get the chance to see her too often. After our caterer tasting, we also got to enjoy a free hotel stay at the hotel where we're getting married.

We had 2 more days of counseling left, and got to enjoy some restaurants that Michael hasn't gotten to try yet. The last day of counseling, after it was over we drove back to Grand Forks to see Faye and Roger one last time for a late lunch.

After we drove back to Fargo, my parents, Michael, and I went out to Vic's and played trivia in the bar while they had dinner. Then my parents dropped us off downtown and Michael and I enjoyed a night out on the town. While we were at the Old Broadway, we saw many old friends that we haven't gotten to see and one of them went out with us! It was so fun!

On New Year's Eve we went to Zorbaz to listen to our wedding band play and after a setback of Michael realizing he left his ID in Fargo....we were able to still hear the band for 2 hours so that's good!!

Our last night, we celebrated my Uncle Dan's birthday and had a fondue party!! So much fun!! Now we're back home and I had one last week to myself free! School starts tomorrow at 7am and as much as I don't want to be at class that early, I am excited for this year to begin because in 173 days I'm getting married!! Happy New Year everyone!! I will try not to take such a LONG break between posts!!
