It's Almost the End of the Quarter!

Hey Ya'll! (LOL)

 

A lot has happened again since my last post! I've been so busy with school that I never have a chance to write on here! I've told myself for the past 2 weeks to write on my blog, and I'm just finally getting to it!

 

Quick Update on Classes: A in everything, except Nutrition. I am beyond frustrated with this professor--as is the rest of the class--because she NEVER posts grades and I'm worried that I won't be able to start the Chiropractic program next quarter if I don't get a C or higher in that class. No way to know though because she STILL hasn't posted grades. Finals are next week, and I know she is REQUIRED to tell us after the final, so fingers crossed that I got a C or higher!!

 

However, I have realized that if this is the only problem I have in life--that I might have to start chiropractic a little later than I had planned--then my life isn't that bad and I'm so thankful that this is my only hardship in my life right now.

 

Mike's job search has been going well. He had 2 interviews with a marketing business for Direct TV, but we haven't heard back if he's going to get the 3rd interview that they do. He had an interview at Kroger (grocery store) and got a job working in the deli! Technically, he's not officially hired yet, because he has to pass a drug test and they haven't called him yet to tell him they got the results back. Neither of us are worried though, so we already know that he got the job! I think they are calling him on Thursday this week to discuss when he starts!! We're both hoping this weekend!

 

In other news, our apartment has been invaded by carpenter ants, (which are a distance relative to termites) GROSS!! They chewed through a wall in our entry-way, that's how we found them. The maintenance guys came and filled the hole and fumigated, so I'm hoping that everything is well and we won't have that problem anymore!! With the amount of bugs that everyone I know here has told me about, it makes me hesitant to think anywhere else is better, but I'm seriously considering moving at the end of our lease to see if there is somewhere else that has less bugs.

 

At the end of February, I left class and noticed that I had a flat tire, so Mike and I kept an eye on it, and the pressure kept going down after we would fill it up. We went and got that fixed 2 weekends ago, and since we had to wait for them to fix, we went for a walk outside and found this bison!! So I had to snap a picture for all the bison fans out there! Go Bison!! Speaking of the Bison, the Bison Basketball Team made it to the big dance, and play the Oklahoma Sooners on Thursday night in Spokane, and I'm so excited to watch it on ESPN!! Yay!! Go Bison!

 

As I've said, I've done a lot of studying lately, the other day I studied on the trails at my school by the waterfall!! Here's a picture of me and the waterfall!!

 

Lastly, quick talk about what's coming up soon!! I just had a powerpoint presentation in my computers class today, and that is our last project with the exception of our final. All my other classes are done with big projects except for 2 homework assignments I have that I plan on doing after writing this.

 

After all the homework is done and all the classes this week are over, I have EVERY final on Monday next week and I know that I'm just going to be doing a lot of studying this week and weekend to get ready for all of them!! Monday is definitely going to be a stressful day!!!

 

After finals, on Tuesday, I'm going to be getting ready for my spring break trip with my family on Wednesday. We are going to the Virgin Islands for my Grandma Neva's birthday! I'm so excited to see my whole family!! Especially since:

1) My whole family is flying into Atlanta, and then we all fly together to the Virgin Islands, I'm so excited to meet them at the airport!!  

2) I've never gone anywhere tropical for spring break (like most college students do)

 

I know it will so much fun and an unforgettable family experience that I will cherish for years to come! We come back on the following Wednesday, which will still be spring break since I'm actually leaving during finals week. That will be nice because then I will have 4 and 1/2 days off to get ready for class and hang out with Michael before starting a bunch of classes!!
