LIFE In A Southern Town...: January 2015

Hey People!!

I'm back from my Christmas Break!! It was the most amazing break ever!!! Unfortunately, it is over and it's back to school and studying like crazy!!

So here's what has happened since my last post. The family got the Magic Bus ready before our trek down to Texas for the Bison game.

The family loaded up the Magic Bus and drove down to Frisco, TX on Wednesday, the 7th. We stopped in Wichita, KS that night and then we finished the drive on Thursday! That night we went to Billy Bob's in Dallas which is the World's Largest Honky Tonk and we went line dancing! It was so much fun!

On Friday we did some driving around and getting some last minute stuff done for the bus. We even found a Bison for us to take pictures with!!

Friday night before the game, CMT was hosting a Football Kickoff Party for the Oregon/Ohio game that was on Monday. It was full of Bison fans!! My friend from NDSU, Jess, and her boyfriend Chase met us and we all went together to the concert. It was a blast!! We saw Toby Keith, Brett Eldrich, Thomas Rhett, Jake Owen, Maddie and Tae, Lady Antebellum, Aloe Black, and finally Big and Rich!! It was so awesome!! Plus, a lot of my family made it on CMT!! Here are some pictures from the concert!!!

Then it was game day!!! We tailgated and watched the Bison play in the FCS National Championship and of course WIN!!! 4-PEAT BABY!!! The game was so crazy, and was definitely a heart-pounding game!! It was obvious how both teams made it to the finals!! The Bison were able to push through and beat the Illinois Redbirds in the last 40 seconds with a score of 29-27!! I, along with many other fans, stormed the field after the game! So much fun!!

After the game was over we hung out at the bus for about an hour and packed up and my family dropped me off at my Grandma, Aunt Lisa Ann and Cousin Dianne's hotel because they got back on the road to go home. Said goodbye to my family and went and had dinner with my remaining family members. Then Grandma went to bed and my aunt and cousin stayed at the bar. Jess and Chase were still in town so we went back to Billy Bob's and saw Scotty McCreery for the night!!

The next morning I said goodbye to my family and got in a cab to go to the airport!! Mike picked me up from the airport and I was so excited to see him!! It had been waaaaayyyy too long!! We went home and then I got to see my baby Peach!! She was so excited to see me and WOULD NOT leave me alone for the rest of the night!! Then I took a nap and got ready for class the next day and now I'm back at school!!

Week 1 was so hectic, I was sooo disorganized!! I'm still a little disorganized, but I'm trying to get back into the swing of things!!

It's now the end of week 2 and I'm getting ready for my first TEST next week!! That's all for now!! HOPEFULLY, I will be able to update again before the quarter is over!! Later People!!

So my last post was just before the quarter....now it's already over!?? CRAZY how fast a quarter can fly by!! This is what happens when you have 27.5 credits in just 11 weeks!! You never have time for anything, especially updating your blog!! Thankfully, Facebook exists and I have been able to keep most of my readers updated on that.

Last quarter, I pretty much lived in the library and it paid off because I was able to pass the classes that I had previously failed! The only bad part regarding classes is that I did fail one new one. The class is a 4 part class and thankfully you can take part 1 and 2 together so I will be doing that as to not get behind!

I am currently writing this from my parent's home since it is Christmas Break and I have been fortunate enough to spend the whole time with my family. It has been hard to be away from Michael and Peach, but I am glad that Michael's mom was able to visit them for a while over Christmas. I will be heading home in 9 days from Dallas, Texas because I will be with my family watching the NDSU Bison become 4-PEAT national champions!! We drive down on Wed, the 7th and the game is Saturday the 10th! Look for us on ESPN!!

I've enjoyed being home, and am dreading going back to studying soon but I know it must be done so I can rush back to my home for good!! It has been a crazy ride this last year, and I know that this new year will be even better than last year!!
