Here's what happened since my last post. I got for the first time ever in my life, a 4.0 GPA!! After my last final on the Wednesday of finals week, I got ready to go home. My classmate, Richard drove me to the airport and then I got to begin my 3 1/2 glorious weeks with my family and friends in Fargo!
I flew home and my Grandma Connie picked me up from the airport and took me to my parent's house. Shortly after, I was greeted by my mom and we went and ran errands for The Magic Bus!
That weekend, Michael and I went to Grand Forks to visit his Mom and Roger and surprise Roger for his birthday. It was so great to see them!!
Then for Christmas Eve, Michael went to his mom's and I went to my Grandma Connie's house and celebrated Christmas with my mom's side of the family. On Christmas Day, my family celebrated Christmas with my Dad's side of the family at my Grandma Neva's house.
The day after Christmas, my cousins, Dianne, Natalie and Natasha and I all went after XMAS shopping. Mom and Dad celebrated their 26th anniversary on the 26th. Unfortunately, they worked on the magic bus on their anniversary, but at least they were together!!
On New Year's Eve, Michael and I both attended our first ever Fargo Force Hockey game. We lost, but it was still fun to go! After the game, Michael and I stayed up and watched the ball drop and then waited another hour, said happy new year and went to bed!
I didn't get much sleep though because then we were up at 4am, to go get on the magic bus for Texas to watch the Bison play! Very long trip!! It was worth it though, we 3-peated!! On the way back we stopped in Sioux City, Iowa and stopped for the night and then got back into Fargo around 5pm!
The Thursday before I left Michael, Mom, Dad, and I went to dinner at Mezzaluna! Such a good dinner!! The last night, Grandma Neva came over and we made mashed potatoes and gravy and had a nice dinner.
After dinner, my friend Jill and I went to Teaberry and got smoothies. I'm going to miss her so much! Plus, the next time I see her, she won't be pregnant anymore!! Crazy!! I'm so excited to meet her little boy when he gets here!!
Michael and I stayed up until about 3:30am watching Game of Thrones. (I will admit I fell asleep during the last episode because I was tired! Lol, I guess I'll have to watch that one over again!)
I finished packing and said goodbye to my family! I was sad about leaving them, but I know that I need to be away to go to school and finish so I can come back home!!
Johanna picked me up from the airport and took me home. I was so hungry because I didn't have a lot of time between flights (5 min!!!) so when I got home around 9 I went and got groceries to make a super late dinner!
I spent Sunday getting ready for school.
This quarter for classes I have:
- Nutrition Concepts and Controversies
- Introduction to Computers
- Human Sexuality
- World Geography
- Fitness Walking (We walk outside if it's warmer than 50 degrees, lol)
My Computers class and my Geography class I am the most worried about, but I'm just going to have to study hard for them!
Michael and his mom should get here this Thursday or Friday and I am so excited!! I have realized that I extremely hate anticipation, worst feeling ever, I wish they were just here right now! Until that time, I will just have to keep focusing on class because the weeks go super fast here!
Here are some pictures from my vacation home!!
This is my quilt that I worked on before I left for vacation. My grandma Connie and I finished it together before I left for Atlanta!
First Bison game I went to when I came home!
The rest of the Bison pictures are from the national championship game!
